Larry Lauria's career spans over 24 years and includes features, commercial television, industrial and interactive projects, which have garnered over 40 national and international awards.

During the past eight years he has focused on coordination and instruction of Animation Programs. He has recently completed three and a half years as Program Manager for Animation at the Disney Institute in Orlando, Florida. In this position, he administered for as many as 15 full-time and part-time employees, oversaw four animation studios, developed instructional programs (including customized materials) and managed to teach an average of 12 hours a week in the studios. During the last three years, the Disney Institute Animation Department has hosted a number of evening animation events featuring such special guests as: Ward Kimball, Marc Davis, James Earl Jones, John Canemaker, Faith and Emily Hubley, Bill Plympton, Mark Henn, Tony Bancroft, Jim Korkis, Dave Pruksma, June Fugimoto, Dean Gordon, Mike Hunphries, and Scott McQueen. Appearances in animation programs have included: Roy Disney, Bill Justice, Steve Segal and Betty Edwards.

Prior to working for the Walt Disney Company, Larry was coordinator and instructor of the Classical Animation Course at Senior College Ballyfermot, Dublin, Republic of Ireland. At the time of his tenure there it was rated as one of the top three animation programs in the world.
He is now Consulting Animation Instructor at the Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, Georga, USA.
