Introduction

In this tutorial I aim to teach a newbie to MAX the process of making a very simple robot head, similar to one of the characters found in my film currently in production, Bots Bad Day.

I will be going through basic mesh editing, object copying and mapping the of textures, including the use of Sub/Multi materials (a way of using several textures on the same object)

Very little experience of MAX should be needed to complete this tutorial.

I have included a folder called 'Bot Bits' which contains the relevant maps (textures) and the finished MAX scene.
